Meredith Tracy was one of 25 students invited to participate in the Mid-Atlantic High School Flute Choir sponsored by the Flute Society of Washington. This is an annual competition in which hundreds of applicants audition from all over the Mid-Atlantic region. The group will give a performance on February 19, 2012 at the Flute Society of Washington's Annual "Flute Fair" in Reston, VA. Congratulations Meredith! |

Chris and Annette Folgueras
were selected as members of the 2011 - 2012 Maryland All-State Orchestra viola
section following a rigorous audition process two weekends ago. Hundreds of
students from all over the state auditioned for a position in the viola
section, but only 21 were selected. We are extremely proud that they will represent GC in this very prestigious group. |

If you were not able to attend the Music Parent Meeting on Sept. 7, please review the attached document under the Handouts and Forms tab on the left. You will also find the information for Concert Dress for vocal and instrumental ensembles as well as the Agreement Form for all participants.
You will also find the memo from Dr. Barker regarding parent volunteers and the school application to volunteer. |
