International Baccalaureate music is a component of the music performance ensembles. Students who are enrolled in any of the vocal or instrumental performing groups can take the class for IB credit. Students are not required to be a candidate in the IB program to enroll in the class. Music history, music theory, composition, and the music of other cultures are important elements of the class. Students listen to and evaluate a broad variety of musical types and formats. The group meets every Tuesday from 4:30pm to 6:00pm.
